UWP Summer XC Classic...

DATE: Saturday, August 6th        

SITE: University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Somers, WI   

Time/Distance: 4:30 PM - 4 Kilometer   

     5:00PM - 5 Kilometer               

COURSES: The UWPXC Summer Classic will be the debut event being run on the new HYJR 5K COURSE. This course will be used exclusively this fall for the seven regular season high school meets run at UWP. These meets are the St. Joseph, Rebel, and Angel & Eagle Invitationals. The Kenosha County Meet, the Metro Classic Conference Championship, as well as a WIAA D1 Bradford Sectional Meet will also be run on the UWPXC JR 5K course.

It also is the home of the UWP Godfrey Open & Parkside Rosa Invitationals and the site of the 2017 Big East Conference Championships. In addition, it is the site of the Wisconsin USATF Association meet, the WI/IL Border War and the Foot Locker Cross Country Midwest Regional.

T-SHIRTS: T-shirts will be given to all entrants registered on or before Wednesday, August 2nd. Late registrants will receive shirts will the supply lasts.

COOKOUT: There will be a  cookout for all entrants after the race. Spectators may purchase cookout  meal tickets for $4.00 raceday.

DOOR PRIZES: A large selection of great door prizes will be given out during the cookout (courtesy of Foot Locker)

AWARDS: Medals will be presented to the top five M&F 12 & under and the top five 13 and over in the 4K. Medals will be presented to the top five M&F under the age of 18 in the 5K. The top three M&F 18 and older in the 5K will receive $100 Foot Locker gift certificates; 4-5 will receive $50.00 FL gift certificates.

ENTRY FEE: The entry fee on or before August 2^nd is $15.00.The late fee is $20.00.The race day fee is $25.00.

Packet pick-up and race day registration opens at 3:00pm at the finish line building.

Park in the UW-Parkside Lots. DO NOT park in Petrifying Springs Park! You will be ticketed.
