Brandon Summerfest 5K Glow Run and Kids 1K Fun Run...

The Brandon Summerfest 5K Glow Run and 1K Kids Fun Run is a fundraiser for the Ashby-Brandon-Evansville Track & Field Teams. It is meant to be a family friendly event to encourage exercise in a fun manner. Participants are encouraged to dress in bright costumes or clothing, and wear or carry glow-in-the-dark accessories.

Please join us on Friday, August 1, 2017 for the Brandon Summerfest 5K Glow Run 

and 1K Kids Fun Run to be held on the trail in Brandon.

• Participants can register at www.active.com
• Packet pick-up will be begin at 7:30 pm under the picnic shelter between the bar and trail.
• Kids free 1K Fun Run will begin at 8:15, parents, siblings, and friends are welcome to join kids ages 0-12 in the fun run. Runners will run down the trail 500m and run back towards the finish line. 
• 5K Glow Run is $10 to run; T-shirts are an additional $10. The race will begin at 9:00 pm on the trail near the picnic shelter on the Central Lakes Trail.
• The 5K Glow Run is meant to be a fun race for individuals, friends, and families. Participants are encouraged encouraged to dress in costumes, bright colors, or homemade shirts, and wear glow necklaces, bracelets, etc. Additional necklaces, bracelets, and sunglasses will be available for purchase. Participants may also carry flashlights or other illuminated items.
• The race trail will be a down and back course all on the Central Lakes Trail. It will be illuminated with luminaries to help light the course.

• Participants should park on County Road 7 or Main Street in Brandon and walk to the picnic shelter and trail.
