• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

This race is definately for all but wanted to create a race for those in the DC & Federal Goverment who truly "RUN THE NATION" Thank You All For Your Service.

This will be a Walk / Run at Hains Point (East Potomac Park) On November 4, 2017 at 8:00 AM Sharp.

Each participant will get a custom t-shirt and Bling (medal) to remember this 2nd year event for years to come. 

REMEMBER: It's always fun to walk or run in groups. The Department that registers the most participants takes the GIANT 4 Foot Trophy back to their Department until next year. Each year the Department with the most participants gets to brag by earning the trophy for 12 months.

Event details and schedule

Time: The race will begin at 8:00am

Course: Will begin at the gate near the golf course leading around Hains Point and returning to the gate.

Bib Pickup - Will begin at 7:15am at the gate near the golf course at Hains Point

Parking - There is plenty of parking at 1100 Ohio Drive, along the street leading towards the golf course.

Bag Check - There will be a free bag check at the starting line

Awards - The Department with the most participants will get to take back to their office a 4 foot trophy indicating your department had the most participants In 2017, if another Department has more participants, you will then give the tropy to that Department until the 2018 event.  The name of the Department and year will be on the trophy each year.

In addition the the above, each participant will get a custom T-Shirt and Medal for signing up.
