Come ride (or run) the ridges at the 6th Annual Tour de Bland Bicycle Ride (and now 5k!)

The Tour de Bland is an annual road cycling ride and 5k run to support the fundraising efforts for the Relay For Life in Bland County, VA. It takes place at the height of the Fall colors in the mountains of southwestern Virginia. This year there are four courses to choose from: a 15 miler, a 37 miler, a 73 miler, and The Bland Century 100 miler. See our website at www.tourdebland.org for course maps more details.

The entire event is hosted by employees and friends of ABB's Dry-type Transformer factory located just a few blocks from the starting line. Our focus is on the enjoyment of everyone who participates in the event. We aim to make it fun and rewarding to support those who are supporting us. We can 't do it without riders like you. So sign up now! 

The ride is not on a closed a course, but along open public highways through scenic areas in rural Bland County. Some of the roads have posted speed limits up to 55 MPH. A signed release is required for participation. Parents must give written permission for riders under 18.

All proceeds from the bike ride go to benefit the American Cancer Society via the Bland County Relay for Life campaign. Total donations up to $10,000 will be matched by the ABB Foundation.
