TriToFinish - Team One Wine Run Sandusky...

Team One Credit Union and Tri To Finish are teaming up to bring you the Team One 5K Wine Run/Walk in Sandusky. Proceeds from this event will benefit the school districts in Sanilac County that are participating in the backpack program.

This 5k walk/run will begin and end at Benchwarmers in Sandusky. A glass of wine awaits all (age 21 and older) participants after they complete their run/walk. Enjoy a relaxing evening with wine, snacks, friends…oh, and a little exercise! Take advantage of this awesome event to get outside and have some fun.

Course Description

The Team One Wine Run is a USATF-sanctioned out-and-back 5k run course that begins and ends at Benchwarmers Sports Bar and Grill.  The route is very flat, with straightaways and curves through neighborhoods and country roads providing a great backdrop for both the competitive and leisurely runners and walkers! 

Packet Pickup and Late Registration

• Wednesday, August 16 from 4:00-6:00 at Team One Credit Union in Sandusky
• Thursday,  August 17 from 4:30-5:45 PM at Benchwarmers Sports Bar and Grill

T-Shirts

Event-specific T-shirts are guaranteed ONLY to those who register online before Noon on Monday, August 7^th. All registrants after that date/time will be provided with a TriToFinish t-shirt if event-specific shirts are unavailable on site.

Note:  Please keep in mind that Ladies Cut shirts generally run smaller than standard unisex t-shirts as they are designed to be somewhat form fitting.  Participants will receive the size and type of shirt ordered.  Exchanges will be unavailable.

Times and Timing:

The 5K Run/Walk events will be timed by Miller Race Management in accordance with USATF sanctioning requirements. 

Awards

Top 3 Overall Fastest 5k Male and Female (chip timed actual)

All participants 21 years of age and older will receive 2 wine or beer tastings in the event tent upon completion of their event!  (Please note:  ID required to receive wine glass and wine tasting tickets).  Food will also be available after the race in the event tent at Caro Community Hospital.

Results 

Results will be displayed at the event and will be posted at TRITOFINISH.COM within 48 hours of race completion.

Seniors (60+) Pricing

•      $18.00 valid through 8/15/17
•      $20.00 for on-site registration

Online Registration closes at Midnight, Tuesday, August 15, 2017.  After that, ALL registrations will be completed on-site at late registration/packet pickup at the increased rate of $35 ($20 seniors).

NOTE:  We’ve got you covered!  Your registration includes the Active.com fee for registration! Go ahead and register online!  The price you see is the price you pay!

Refund Policy

We completely understand that plans change and runners will sometimes be unable to compete in an event they've signed up for.  Unfortunately, refunds will not be provided for any event unless the event is cancelled for some reason. 

Should a runner have an injury or other medical issue keeping them from competing in an event they've registered for then we would be happy to transfer their registration to a similar event up to and including the same event the following season.  Physician's proof of injury/ailment may be required.

Transferring registrations to other runners is NOT allowed.
