Proceeds from the event will go to the K9 unit of the Crystal Police Department

K9 police dog Rocco was born on November 12, 2011 in Slovake.  The Crystal Police Department received Rocco from the St Paul Police Department thru their K9 program.  Rocco has served the citizens of Crystal since May 2013.  The name Rocco stand for Ready on Command Crystal Office.  The Crystal Police Department conducted a K9 naming contest with the elementary schools and a kindergarten class at Neil Elementary won the contest. 

Rocco has been trained in apprehension, tracking, and narcotic detection.  He has been a tremendous asset to the Crystal Police Department.  The City of Crystal funds most of Rocco's necessities; however, it is necessary for the police department to fundraise due to extensive trainning and equipment that is needed to keep Rocco in his job.
