At FX we strive to help each other not only in the studio but out in the community. We want to keep helping with our giving hearts within the community as much as possible. It's a very exciting thing for us, at FX, to announce that we are hosting our 1st annual 5K run but we are even more excited to share that the run will be focused on raising money for the incredible not-for-profit, local organization, Feeding Tampa Bay. Our goal is to raise enough money and food to be able to feed enough adults and children this year on September 30th and by locking arms and really focusing on our goal, I know we, this incredible FX family, can accomplish our goal.

Did you know that there is a good chance someone you see each day is hungry. In Tampa Bay, more than 700,000 people are food insecure, meaning they lack consistent and easy access to safe, nutritionally adequate food. And the problem isn’t limited only to the homeless. Many who struggle to find adequate food are working adults, children and the elderly. Feeding Tampa Bay, part of the national Feeding America network, focuses on providing food to the more than 700,000 hungry in the 10-county area of West Central Florida. And not only do they feed anyone without prejudice but they educate the community about this epidemic happening right in our back yard. No one should ever go hungry ever.

And as much as we want to feed as many people as possible, we decided to focus our goal more directly on feeding children. Hungry children are focused on being hungry when their growing bodies should be focused on school, growing those healthy bodies and being a kid.

So with your help and giving hearts, let's all work together to make this a fun, successful 5K and help feed our community!
