Family FUN Run/Walk for LITERACY...

Each year the Elementary School at Lodi Academy holds a FAMILY FUN RUN to bring together our community and support fundraising efforts for a local non-profit organization. This will be our 7th annual event.

In the last few years, along with many of you, we’ve raised more than $50,000 for local support organizations including Grace & Mercy Food Bank, LODI 180-Youth Programs, 180-Lodi's Adolescent and Family Services Program, LODI HOUSE and LODI BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB!

This year we have chosen the Lodi Library Foundation and specifically their Teen Scene project as the charity beneficiary of the 2017 FAMILY FUN RUN. The Lodi Library Foundation is run by local volunteers whose sole purpose is to expand and support the programs and services offered to our community through the Library. 

This year they have taken on a teen focused project to expand the services offered to our local teens through a resources center. This “Teen Scene” resource center will offer tutoring, hands on experience and assistance in areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM), as an alternative to other after school activities.

Please consider donating to this event. They can use any help you can give and our local community will benefit directly from your participation.

Date:  September 24th, 2017   SUNDAY

Time:  Adult 5K  8:30am        Kids 12 & under Fun Run 9:30am
          Registration will open at 7:30am (Pre-register to be guaranteed an event t-shirt)

Purpose:  Raise funds to benefit Lodi Library Foundation and the Teen Scene Program

Registration Fee:   Adult $20.00 with free event shirt & juice voucher
                         Kids 12 & under $12.00 with free event shirt & juice voucher

What to wear: Team Spirit Theme - Make up your own Team Costumes  (OPTIONAL) 
                     *must be school appropriate
