This is our 2nd annual 5k fun run to benefit the Set Free Movement in their efforts to end modern day slavery. This is a fun run for all levels of runners and walkers. T-shirts and drawstring sportpack are included with early registration. We have awards for overall male and female finishers and male and female winners for the following age groups- 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. It is a flat loop course through a residential area. This run is part of our Freedom Festival that includes a fair trade market, booths representing organizations that help those vulnerable to becoming a victim of human trafficking, activities for kids, food, vendors, great raffle prizes, and more. We hope you enjoy the run and stay to check out the festival.
We are encouraging everyone to wear wings as a representation of freedom. Get as creative as you'd like.
Packet pick up will be at the Turlock Free Methodist Church located at 2006 E Tuolumne Rd, Turlock the day of the race on Saturday, Oct 7, 8:00am-9:00am.
The race will start at 9:30am on Oct 7
Parking is available in the church's parking lot. If additional parking is needed, please park across the street as to not impede the runners on the course.
