Come join us in Historic Madison, GA for the 12th Annual Firefighters Fall 5K/10.2K, hosted by the Madison Firefighters Charity Fund.  The start/finish is located near Town Park.  The course is run on paved streets by the historic homes of Madison GA.

Several Georgia State Records have been set on the 5K course.

Event details and schedule

Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration: Begins at 6:30AM

5K: Starts at 7:30AM

10.2K: Starts at 8:30AM

Awards:

5K awards will be given out as soon as the 10.2K race starts.  10.2K awards can be picked up shortly after the runner turns in their finish card. Awards will be presented to Overall M/F, Masters M/F, Grand Masters M/F and top three M/F in age groups beginning 10 and under through 75 and over.

Timing and Results:

Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with complete results posted online at www.classicraceservices.com , www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com, and www.coolrunning.com.

Shirts and Goodies:

Dri Fit shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 10/4/17.  Registrations after that date and on race day will not receive a shirt.  There will be plenty of refreshments.  Showers will be available at Uptown Athletic Club, 205 South Burnett St, in Madison, GA.

Series Affiliation:

The races are part of the 2017 Black Bag Race Series and the Run and See Georgia Grand Prix.

Certified 5K Course:

The 5K is USATF Certified #GA13114WC.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
