2nd Annual Paws In The Park 5K and 2K Dog Walk...

Come run a 5K or walk a 2K and help us raise funds for Childers Park Dog Park in Monroe GA.  Dogs are welcome in both events but must be up to date on vaccines, well behaved and on a leash.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup:  Begins at 7:30AM

5K: Starts at 8:30AM

2K Dog Walk: Starts at 8:45AM

Register your dog:  In lieu of a registration fee for YOUR PET, please bring pet food (dry or canned), treats, and/or gently used towels or blankets.  These items will be donated to Walton County Animal Control.

Dogs are welcome in both events but you must enter their name when you sign up.  They must be well behaved, up to date on vaccines and on a leash. Please be sure you clean up after your dog.  Dogs entered in the event will receive a bandana.  Our annual dog costume contest will follow the race.  Make sure the costume is save for both your dog and those around you.

Finish line and results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com, www.coolrunning.com and www.runningintheusa.com.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 9/27/17.  Those registering after that date are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments for both you and your dog.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
