Spooktacular Sprint 5K and Fun Run...

• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

Come out to Homer, GA for the Glow In The DarK, Halloween Themed, fun filled Spooktacular Sprint 5K and Fun Run!  The course will be run on paved road and the fitness path within the Windmill Sports Complex.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 6PM

Fun Run: Starts at 7PM

5K:  Starts at 7:30PM

Awards:  Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Male/Female age group awards to standard 5-year age groups from 10 and under to 75 and over. Ribbons given to all Fun Run participants.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 9/22/17.  Those registering after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  Runners will get glow in the dark bracelets or necklaces.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Costumes and Safety:  Wear your best costume.  Be scary, be funny, be crazy but above all BE SAFE!  Make sure your costume is not only safe for you to run in but safe for others around you.  Please no masks that cover your entire face or block you vision.  Make sure there are no trip hazards or anything that may cause others to trip or fall.  Runners and walkers are encouraged to wear headlamps or bring flashlights.  It will be dark and we want you to be safe.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results are provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.coolrunning.com, www.runningintheusa.com and www.athlinks.com.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2017 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
