Onslow Memorial Hospital will be hosting its Second Annual Thrive On 5k on October 14, 2017. We would love it if you would come join us for lots of fun all while meeting your activity goals. 

We wanted the kiddos to join us too, so this years event will include a 1 mile Kids Fun Run for children 9 and under......t-shirt included with registration if you sign them up by September 29, 2017.

This event is organized to encourage people of all ages to get up and get active.  We don't care if you run it, walk it, or crawl it, we just want you to come out and have a great time while being active.  So get off those couches, grab a friend, and come join us if for no other reason than  "Just for the Health of It"! 

Event details and schedule

This timed race will be held on October 14, 2017 at Jacksonville Commons.  The 1 mile kids fun run will start at 8:00am and the 5k Run/Walk will start at 8:30am.  This race will begin at the  Jacksonville Commons Recreation Center and wind through the Jacksonville Commons neighborhood.

Runners, walkers, and strollers are invited to participate.

Those who wish to register the day of the event can do so from 6:30-7:30am at the event site.

Those who pre-register by October 12, 2017 can pick up pre-registration packets at Onslow Memorial Hospital  in the Education Building on October 13, 2017 from 1:00 pm-7:00pm.  Those who register after October 12, 2017 can pick up packets the day of the event.

T-shirts are included  with registration if you register on or before September 29, 2017 @ 11:59p.m.

Children 5 and under who participate in the 5k are free; however, t-shirt is not included. 

Participants must sign the waiver before they can participate. Children under 18 must have a parent/legal guardian sign the waiver before they can participate.

Health & Wellness vendors will be on site the day of the event.

This is a rain or shine event.
