Description: The Penn Suburban Chamber of Montgomery County and Variety - The Children's Charity of Greater Philadelphia are hosting the "Firkin 5k".  This event features a course that runs through Whites Road Park and neighborhood streets in Lansdale, PA.  The race starts at Whites Road Park. Registration begins at 8:45 A.M and the race begins at 10:00 A.M.  This is a chip-timed event!  We will have runners' bags which will include gift cards as well as t-shirts to first 200 runners who register.  Features: T Shirt, Goody Bag, Event Timed, Food and Drinks, Beer, Music, Awards.  Course description: Race is mostly through quiet neighborhood streets. Runners will start and end at Whites Road Park, where Lansdale Oktoberfest begins at 11:00 a.m.  One beer token will be given to runners age 21 and over for Oktoberfest.  Packet pickup: Race packets can be picked up on Race day at 8:45 a.m. at Whites Road Park. Registration info: Event registration fees include a Firkin 5k T-shirt to first 200 registered.  Registration day of Event is available.  Options: Early Bird $30.00 (expires 9/15 11:59 PM); Late Registration $40.00 until Race Day; Walkers-registration $25.00.
