Description
The Haunted Chase Race will be the City of Green Bay Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department’s second annual scary 5K run. This fun run is intended for anyone who desires to participate in a unique and unconventional 5K experience with unexpected thrills and frights along the route.   All ages are welcome! Come dressed in costume if you please!   Day of registration will be held at Bay Beach Amusement Park, and the course will follow through the trails at the Wildlife Sanctuary and throughout the amusment park.

5:30 pm Family Heat $15

7:30pm Scary Heat

Before this heat, you will be given a flag belt, just like the game of flag football. These flags represent your health. The zombies along the route want to take your flags (and maybe eat your brains). If you finish the 5K with a flag still attached, you will receive a medal at the finish line.

  • Medal (Only for runners who make it through the course with 1 or both flags still attached to belt).
  The 5K route will start at Bay Beach, head through the trails of the Wildlife Sanctuary, loop back around to Bay Beach Amusement Park, weave through the haunted rides, and end infront of the Main Pavilion.    Packet Pickup and Day of registration will take place at Bay Beach Amusment Park inside the main Pavilion.   Please dress in warm clothes (Sweatshirt, Hat, Gloves, Pants) and appropraite shoes for trail running and rough terrain.
