FOR WHOM: PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT MAINE RUNNING HALL OF FAME          

RACE IS IN MEMORY OF JULIUS MARZUL, A WORLD WAR II VETERAN, AND 28 YEAR RUNNER WHO DIED 100 YARDS FROM THE FINISH OF THE MAINE HALF MARATHON OCTOBER 3, 2004 AT THE AGE OF 78.

COST: $19 WITH SHIRT BY MAY 26TH  $25 RACE DAY

AWARDS FOR OVERALL, AGE GROUP, AND TEAM CATEGORIES.

*RACE DAY REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP: 3-5PM @ FLEET FEET 309 MARGINAL WAY PORTLAND

COUNTER-CLOCKWISE BACK COVE LOOP STARTING AT BACK COVE SOCCER FIELDS & ENDING NEAR BELMEADE ST.

POST RACE PARTY & AWARDS CEREMONY 5:45-7:30PM AT PAT’S PIZZA 30 MARKET ST PORTLAND 1.2 MILES AWAY.

*Due to recent changes in fee structures in the City of Portland and to keep race entry fee reasonable, packet pickup is 0.4 miles away from the start and 0.9 miles away from the finish. Maps will be provided. Driving time is less than 5 minutes from each location. There will be 15 minutes between closing of packet pickup and race start to allow runners to assemble.
