39TH ANNUAL BIG BIRD RUN  - R.A.R.E. is hosting the 39th Annual Big Bird Run which includes a10K (6.2 miles), 4K (2.5 miles) and 1 Mile Fun Run on Sunday, November 12th at 10:00 a.m.  Start and finish lines are at the Recreation Authority Center located at 18185 Sycamore St.  The course includes Gratiot Ave., I-696 pedestrian bridge and several residential streets.  The 10K course is certified by the USTFA.

 Registration forms are available for the Big Bird Run at the Recreation Authority Center or register online at www.eastsideracingcompany.com or at www.active.com.The first 700 registered runners will receive a specially designedBig Bird long sleeved t-shirt. All participants have a chance to win one of 20 frozen turkeys and many other great raffle prizes!

 Registration Fees: $25.00/person through October 1; $30.00/person Oct. 2 through November 8; $35 on Race Day.  NEW: High School Team Entry Form is now available.  Register a minimum of 5 runners representing the same High School at a discounted rate and win the High School Team Award.  More information at www.rare-mi.org.

Pre-registration ends on Wednesday, November 8th at 6:00 p.m.

Additional registrations will only be taken on Race Day.

Checks will not be accepted on race day!!
