This is a 5K and Fun Run Walk at Hobgood Park in Woodstock that is an awareness event and will help raise money to keep Cherokee County Highways Safe from drunk drivers.  Cherokee Friends of Recovery Foundation believes in making the impaired driver responsible for their actions, saving tax payers money, and keeping our highways safe!

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup:  Begins at 6PM

1K Fun Run: Starts at 7PM

5K: Starts at 7:30PM

Awards:

1K Fun Run – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Male and Female must be under 12 years old to be eligible for a race award.

5K Run/Walk - Place Age Groups for Male and Female: 10-under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, any age over 70.

Shirts and Goodies:

Shirts are guaranteed if registered by 10/10/17.  Registrations after that date and on race day are not guaranteed shirt type, shirt size or a shirt at all.  There will be plenty of refreshments.  Drawing for door prizes after the 5K, you must be present to win.

Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com www.athlinks.com and www.coolrunning.com.

In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
