Muddy's Buddies 5K Walk/Run...

• 5K Run /Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

A yearly tribute to Muddy, who was part of our Racevermont team from the beginning.  A sweet and gentle chocolate lab, who never missed a race, a chance to make someone’s day.  Let’s get together for a great family event. Bring Fido too!  Muddy wouldn’t want it any other way.  A portion of the net proceeds from this run/walk will go to local dog charities. You can choose to run/walk with or without a furry friend. The course is a 4 loop course around the grounds of Vermont Teddy Bear.  It is primarily flat, with one short hill. The course is a mixture of pavement and grass. This is a self-timed race with prizes for the top two and six legged runners and walkers.  We’ll provide the big, fancy race clock but times will not be recorded. After our award ceremony, grab the family and enjoy a tour at Vermont Teddy Bear.  Discount coupons for tours will be given to racers.

Bib Pickup

Bibs can be picked up on race day from:  9:00 -9:45am at Vermont Teddy Bear. There will be no pre-race pick up at Fleet Feet Sports.

Vermont Teddy Bear is located at 6655 Shelburne Road (Route 7) in Shelburne, Vermont just south of the intersection of Route 7 and Marsett Road (which is just south of Shelburne Museum)From

Interstate 89:

Take exit 13 onto 189. Turn left onto Rte. 7 South, through the town of Shelburne, (approximately 6.5 miles). The Vermont Teddy Bear Factory is located 1 mile South of the Village of Shelburne - just keep your eyes open for The Vermont Teddy Bear Company sign on your left!

From South of Shelburne:

Travel north on Route 7. Keep your eyes open for The Vermont Teddy Bear Company sign on your right just after you enter the town of Shelburne.

Post race refreshments

Light refreshments will be available immediately following the race courtesy of Bruegger's Bagels and Shelburne Market.

Awards

Top 3  finishers in each of the two divisions: 2-legged and 6-legged will receive prizes.
Prizes include:

• a Vermont Teddy Bear decked out in his commemorative race t-shirt
• a bottle of wine courtesy of Shelburne Vineyard
• a RaceVermont.com pint glass

A raffle of prizes donated by our sponsors will be held after the awards ceremony. You must be present to win.
