Run For Your Life Zombiefest 2017
Come be apart of SOAC’s first ever Run For Your Life ZombieFest! Do you think you are brave enough for a zombie infested 2 mile run?Are you a thrill seeker that is always down for a good scare? Do you think you have the guts to make it out alive? PROVE IT! Come test your limits and see if you would survive a zombie apocalypse.
The Run For Your Life Zombiefest includes a 2 mile run through our site's open fields and wooded areas. You'll encounter barriers to climb over that will have your heart beating out your chest. We've been infiltrated with creaper zombies and streaker zombies, all of who are waiting patiently to take your health flags. If you can finish the race and survive with both of your flags-- congrats! You'll have kept your brains!
Stick around afterwards for the survivor afterparty including food trucks, live music, and lawn games.

Friday, August 18th: Registration opens. 35$ per person
Friday, October 20th: Registration closes @ 11:59pm
Saturday, October 21st:: Packet Pickup from @11:00am-1:30pm on site
Saturday, October 21st: Race begins @2:00pm

Rules
All participants must follow course officials’ instructions
You must be 12 years or older at race day
It is participant’s duty to inform SOAC Staff if they have been injured or hurt during the race
All photos taken by media or SOAC Staff can be used to market or promote other races
It is up to the participant to complete each obstacle, if the participant does not feel they can complete the race or obstacle it is there responsibility to leave or avoid the obstacle all together.
Participants understand that if they do not complete each obstacle race they will not be able to receive any awards
All participants understand there are no refunds or transfers
All participants understand that this is not a normal road race, but rather and extreme foot race including multiple obstacles along the way with tough terrain, and fully understand the risks involved
What Should I Bring
Change of Clothes
Photo ID for Packet Pickup
Appropriate footwear is highly recommended! Note: this course includes trails through wooded areas
Spending money for extra beverages, food, entertainment, or SOAC gear!

What to Leave At Home
No outside alcoholic beverages will be allowed
No genuine weapons and/or firearms will be allowed
No glass containers will be allowed
When to Arrive On Race Day
We recommend that you arrive at least one hour before the race begins. Take in account that you will have to park, pick up your packet (if you have not already done so), attach your tag, and make your way to the start line.
Spectators
Come out and see your family and friends as they run fratically away from zombies! Come out and eat great food, have a cold beverage and watch runners run for their lives!
Safety
Participants assume all risk & medical expenses if needed during or after the race
All participants will brief themselves as to where the medical tent is located when they arrive for the race
What If It Rains
Rain or Shine this race will happen.
Refund Policy
Registrations are non-refundable. We do offer registrations to be transferred. The cut off time for your spot to be transferred is by Wednesday, October 20, 2017@10am.
Is There a Dress Code or Can I Dress Crazy
Costumes are encouraged! Dress crazy, be unique as possible, but keep in mind you are running a race with various obstacles, so keep it safe!
What is the Length of the Course
Our course is a two mile run. This includes various obstacles.
Can I Run with a Group
For this race we are not including teams. However that does not stop you and your friends fro running side by side. This might enhance your chances of survival!
How is the Timing Done for the Race
This race will not be timed. This is so you can concentrate on staying alive!
Is There a Bag Drop
Yes. We will offer a bag check conveniently located near the course. SOAC is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. If this poses an issue, you may leave your items in your car for after the race.
What is the Packet Pick-Up
Packet Pick-Up is where you will “check-in” for the race. Here you will receive your Run For Your Life Zombiefest 2017 t-shirt. Please bring your photo ID. If you fail to provide a valid ID and our waiver (found online) you will forfeit your ability to race and no refund will be given. Once you register you will receive an email with those details.
What if I Can’t Make it to Packet Pick-Up?
You may have a friend pick up the participant’s packet
You will need the following two items in order to pick up the items:
Copy of your friends photo ID
Signed letter from your friend stating that you are allowed to pick up their packet
*Race packets and materials must be picked up on-site. We cannot ship packets to participants.
Can I Bring My Dog or Pet?
No dogs or pets are allowed at this event.
