Chili Cook Off 5K Road Race...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Join us for the 2017 Chili Cook-Off 5K Road Race. Runners receive a complimentary ticket to the cook-off. Proceeds from the race go towards helping offset the cost of the fall festival event. Pre-registration is available until Friday, October 6th at 12:00 PM for $15.00. Race-day registration begins at 7:30 AM and is $20.00. The race begins on Water Street at 9:00 AM following the Kids Fun Run at 8:30 AM. Kids do not need to register for the Fun Run, all you need to do is show up and every kid will receive a special prize! Race course can be viewed HERE!

Run Route: Start in Water Street towards Broad and up Broad and around Broad St Park going by the High School, running with traffic. Runners continue to Chestnut St and follow Chestnut St running against traffic until entrance of the rail trail. Come out onto Edgewood St and then on to Belmont and turn right onto Chestnut St. Stay on Chestnut until South St. Cross the street and run with traffic on south St. Turn right on Baker St. to end and Turn left on East St to end. Turn right onto Pleasant St towards West Pleasant St intersection. Continue on Pleasant St running with traffic. (Parking spaces coned off to allow running on the side or roadway near sidewalk) Run towards Opera House Sq. Go around Opera House Sq. with traffic and onto Main St and then onto Crescent St and onto Water St and the finish line. Route marked with signs and "Blue Traffic Cones" as well as "RUNNERS IN ROAD" signs to warn motorists.
