Don't just Relay for Life...Run for your life! The Relay For Life of Toombs County is hosting its first annual 5K Zombie Run/Walk on October 28th at the Vidalia Kiwanis Fairgrounds on Airport Road.
Each runner will be given three flags that the "undead" will attempt to take while you make your way throughout the wooded trails and fields. There will be "safe zones" throughout the 3.1 mile trek that will offer refreshments and a chance to pick up an additional flag. Any runner that finishes the race with at least one flag will earn a medal for not becoming infected and being part of the Zombie Hoard.
Participants are encouraged to dress up as Zombies (ripped clothing, makeup, etc)
All are welcome to participate including runners, walkers, children and survivors
