The annual Magnet Monster Dash benefits the students and teachers of the award winning Rockdale Magnet School for Science and Technology. 

Event details and schedule

5pm - Event Registration Begins

6pm - Start 5K Run/Walk

6:45pm - Start 1 Mile Fun Run

7pm - Awards Ceremony  

Course Details:

The 5k Run/Walk begins at the Rockdale County High School front parking lot and ends in the Rockdale County High School Football Stadium. The 5k course has moderate hills and slightly uneven terrain.

The 1 Mile Fun Run course is around the Rockdale County High School Track.

Parking Information:

Parking is provided at the Rockdale County High School in the front and back of the school. There is additional parking options at the elementary school across the street and at the Rockdale Magnet campus down the hill from the high school.

Awards:

• All participants receive medals in the 1 Mile Fun/Run
• 5K Awards: Overall Male and Female; Top 3 male and females in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15 - 19, 20 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70 & over
