Come and Run with the Lions 5K in Comer, GA! Race is sponsored by the Comer Lions Club. The Lions Club international is a volunteer world-wide organization that promotes and help people with eyeglasses, eye surgery and needs in the community. The proceeds from this race will go to community project sponsored by the Comer Lions Club.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and packet pickup: Begins at 7AM

5K: Starts at 8AM

Awards:  Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female.  3 Deep in standard age groups beginning with 10 and under to 75 and over.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com and www.coolrunning.com.

Shirts and Goodies:  Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 10/18/17.  Those registering after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2017 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
