Our 12th annual event. This charity run has 13.1 (run only) and 4.37 mile (run only) routes featuring beautiful Rock Lake. Each route begins and ends at Tyranena Brewing Company in Lake Mills. Stations providing water, Gatorade and restrooms are located approximately every two-to-three miles of both routes. Each participant will receive a commemorative Tyranena Beer Run t-shirt, two drink tickets for beer, soda or bottled water, and a ticket for a complete dinner after the race. Free brewery tours will also be offered in the afternoon. AWARDS & PRIZES:Three awards will be given to runners, per route, for each of the following age groups: 21 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, and 65+. Awards will be hand delivered to winners as soon as results are available after the race. One cash prize will be awarded for the best run time for each route, male and female. (Winners of best run time prizes will NOT be eligible to also win their age group.) CASH PRIZES FOR BEST RUN TIMES: 1/2 Barrel Route - Best Time - Woman $100 1/2 Barrel Route - Best Time - Man $100 1/6 Barrel Route - Best Time - Woman $50 1/6 Barrel Route - Best Time - Man $50 Finishers' medals will be awarded to each participant that completes the 1/2 Barrel Route (13.1 miles). The award ceremony will begin at approximately 3 pm. Awards cannot be handed out until all participants have finished both courses as disqualifications may occur or other factors, which can change the outcome of age groups. REGISTRATION: There is an 1200 runner limit for the 1/2 Barrel route. There is an 425 runner limit for the 1/6 Barrel route. There will be no walkup registration accepted the day of the event. Participants MUST be 21 or older to participate in this event. Sorry, NO exceptions.
No pets, strollers, joggers, or any other pull-behind or pushing apparatus will be allowed on either course.
Registration includes a t-shirt, 2 drink tickets, and full dinner at the end of either route. (There is no discounted option for not receiving a meal or shirt.) *Be advised that while registration "officially" closes in October, no further registrations will be taken once the race capacities listed above have been met!
Event details and schedule
RACE TIMES: 1/2 Barrel Run will begin at 11:30 am. 1/6 Barrel Run will begin at 12:30 pm. If a runner misses their race start, it will be up to officials as to whether or not they will be able to participate. Please be on time for your race. PACKET PICKUP: Packet pickup will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, November 4. For a variety of reasons, packets will not be handed out prior to race day. ENTERTAINMENT & BEER TENT The race-side Beer Tent will start serving beverages at 11:00 am and remain open until just after 5:00 pm. At that time we will be moving the party indoors, where we will have live music in the Tasting Room from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm. The Tasting Room at the brewery will be open until 11 pm. DINNER AFTER THE RACE:Dinners will be served in the race-side Beer Tent from approximately 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
