Firecracker 5K - Warrenville ~ Results

The Warrenville Park District is sponsoring the Annual Firecracker 5k Run/Walk on Wednesday, July 4th. The run kicks off at the Warrenville Park District Recreation Center at 8:00am sharp. The scenic course incorporates the Illinois Prairie Path, Warrenville Grove Forest Preserve, and the streets of downtown Warrenville. The first 400 participants to arrive for packet pick-up are guaranteed a race t-shirt and goody bag. Overall Male and Female winners determined by gun time and the age group winners are determined by their net or chip time. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each group.

Just for Kids

A 50 yard dash for ages 3-6 and a 100 yard dash for ages 6-10. These dashes will be held following the conclusion of the 5K Race around 9:30am or when all the 5K racers are complete. Kids will receive a t-shirt, until supplies last, and are encouraged to check-in and pick-up their shirt before the start of the 5K race. The kids race will take place at the conclusion of the 5K event, which is typically between 9:15am-9:45am.

Packet/Bib Pick-Up

Early packet pick-up is on Saturday, June 30 from 11am - 1pm at the Warrenville Community Building. 3S240 Warren Ave. Warrenville, IL 60555. *Must register before June 26 to have your packet available for early packet pick-up.* We will also have packet/bib pick-up the day of the race starting at 6:30am.

Day of Registration will be available if you did not pre-register. Day of registration will be in the Warrenville Community Building located at 3S240 Warren Ave. Warrenville, IL 60555.
