Event Summary:
The 1st Annual Austin Utilities Share the Heat 5K and 1 Mile Run | Walk is happening on October 7 at 9 a.m. Proceeds raised support the HeatShare heating assistance program administered by the Salvation Army. When you give to HeatShare, you are helping warm the lives of the elderly, disabled and others in the Austin community who have nowhere else to turn. As a public utility we’re proud supporters of local community needs.

5K - $25 (ages 11 and older)
1 Mile (Ages 11 and older) - $25
Ages 10 and under are FREE but must pay $15 for a T-shirt

What is HeatShare?:
HeatShare is a Salvation Army program that provides emergency utility assistance for people with no place left to turn. The program is funded in part by Salvation Army donors and customers of local utility companies. Funds are typically used to pay for natural gas, oil, propane and electricity.
