Cope Environmental Center 2017 Fall Foliage 5k/10k...

• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles
• 10K Run:- Run 6.2 Miles

The Cope Environmental Center Fall Foliage 5K run / walk will again include a 10K option. The 5K remains part of the Wayne County Challenge (WCC) series and will be scored as usual.

10K runners get WCC participation points + the first 10 male & female finishers will get:

1st = 75 points 
2nd = 55 points
3rd = 40 points
4th = 30 points
5th = 22 points
6th = 18 points
7th = 15 points
8th = 11 points
9th = 8 points
10th = 3 points

Awards for the 5K will follow the WCC standard overall and age group categories. Awards for the 10K will be limited to 1st - 3rd overall Male and Female finishers.

The Fall Foliage course begins on trail; transitions to gravel then quickly to a short stretch of paved road (longer in the 10K course) the course moves back to narrower grass/mulch & hard pack, single track trail. There are exposed roots and trip hazards, trail may be muddy if there is rain.
