• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Danger! Zombies! Run! Escape the undead as a human, or chase humans as a zombie and turn them into zombies by taking their life! As a human, you'll have a 90 seconds head start, and you'll attempt not to be killed by any zombie. Your life will hang as a ribbon on your back. If you are killed, volunteers along the course will stand by with buckets of fake blood ready to zombiefy you. As a zombie, you'll attempt to chase and kill as many humans as possible by stealing the ribbon (life) on their backs. The zombie with the most kills will win. As a deluxe zombie, you'll be zombiefied by make up artists on site before the start.

What is a Deluxe Zombie: With the Deluxe Zombie registration, you get a session with a professional make up artist that will transform you into a truly terrifying zombie!

Location:  The Start/Finish location is located on the East End of the Downtown Mall in front of the nTelos Pavilion.

Start Time: 8:30am

Registration: Online registration closes on Saturday before the race.  Race day registration is available from 7am until 8:15am at the starting line.

Packet pickup: Sunday, October 29 from 7am until 8:15am at the starting line.
