Everyone loves beavers! Now in it’s 5th year, the Beaver Moon Twilight 5K celebrates the 2017 November Beaver Moon, with a 5K competitive, chip-timed run and walk on November 11. Come join us for a great evening run in Noblesville, score an awesome event shirt, and receive a custom finisher medal when you cross the finish line!
The Beaver Moon Twilight 5K name comes from the Native American name for the November moon. Moon names helped kept track of the seasons by giving distinctive names to each recurring full Moon. The November full moon was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze, to ensure a supply of warm winter furs.
This 5K run/walk, starting at 4:30PM, starts by running across Potter’s Bridge, the only remaining covered bridge in Hamilton County, then winds along the White River on the White River Greenway Trail, from Potter’s Bridge south to Field Drive, returning to Potter’s Bridge Park just before dusk.
The sunset at 5:32 PM should lend for a beautiful evening run, with the Beaver Moon coming out as you finish!

After 11/5 – $30 (no option for a shirt)
Make sure you keep an eye out for the beavers in the river while you run, walk or skip your way through the beautiful tree lined pathway. A portion of the proceeds from this race go towards the Friends of Hamilton County Parks Foundation.

Packet Pickup: Packet pickup will take place at Potter's Bridge Park, from 3:00PM-4:30PM
Race Day: We will be onsite by 3:00pm for packet and chip pickup, as well as race day registration. To ensure we can start the race on time, please plan to be onsite at least an hour prior to race to pick up your timing chip. Please note, we may not be able to allow registrations within 45 minutes of the race starting, or check in within 30 minutes of the race start. Check-in will be between Potter's Bridge and the Upper Parking Lot.
Parking: We have been asked to make sure both upper and lower paved parking lots are available to the public. Barring severe rain, all athletes will be required to park in the grass parking lot, in which you can gain entry near the lower parking lot. Please do not park in the upper or lower paved parking lots.
