The RescueMe! 5K/1Mile Walk is an event for serious runners, weekend warriors, and families.  As all proceeds go to benefit Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary this is an animal friendly event!  You are encouraged to bring your dog (or cat if he/she can walk on a leash)!  

The 5K will be professionally timed by On Your Mark Timing.  The course distance has been verified and there will be clear markers designating the halfway point of the 5K.  This is a relatively flat and fast course! 

Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers.  The course route takes you along the scenic White House, TN greenway from the White House High School trailhead, past the Veterans Memorial trailhead and back.

The first 125 people to register prior to race day, are guaranteed an event t-shirt.  We will have a photographer on site who will be taking event photos and seasonal portraits of you and your pets!

Event details and schedule

Check-in and late registration begins at 12:00 pm and the race will start at 1:00pm.  Please be sure to bring a picture ID for check-in.

The course runs along a section of the greenway in White House, TN.  The race begins at the trailhead located at the White House High School and continues a little over a mile and a half, past the Veterans Memorial trailhead, and back to the high school. Participants will not be crossing over any roads traveled by vehicles.

This is a perfect course for those who wish to bring a stroller or a wagon to haul your precious cargo!

Upon arriving at the White House High School, there will be free parking located throughout the high school parking lot.

Early November in Tennessee can bring cool temperatures.  Dress according to the forecast.  The event will be held rain or shine.
