• 5K Run/Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles
• 10K Run:- Run 6.2 Miles

• Race-day:    On-site packet pickup open 6:45 AM-7:45 AM. No race-day registration
• Course:        Flat – walker- and wheelchair-friendly – One or two out’n’back segments on paved roads
• Parking:      Ample and free at Carderock Rereation Area, off Clara Barton Parkway, one mile west of I-495 overpass
• Race size:    About 100 in each race, 5K and 10K.

• DIRECTIONS: Carderock Pavilion has no street address, search Carderock Recreation Area with Google Maps or follow the directions at https://www.recreation.gov/camping/carderock-recreation-area-pavilion/r/campgroundDetails.do?contractCode=NRSO&parkId=111899
• 1. Take Exit 41 toward Carderock/Great Falls. 
  2. Merge onto the Clara Barton Pkwy and continue 1 mile to the Carderock exit (on the right is the David Taylor Model Basin 9500 MacArthur Blvd., West Bethesda, MD 20817). 
  3. Take the Carderock exit and at the stop sign, turn left to cross over the Clara Barton Pkwy. Follow the road until you reach a second stop sign. 
  4. Turn left for parking lot "A" or turn right for parking lot "B" and the restrooms. (The pavilion is located between the two parking lots.)

• Starts:         5K run & race walk at 7:50 AM, 10K run at 8:00 AM -- 10K starts about 200 feet from the 5K start - Must finish by 9:30 AM

• Awards:      Cranberry bread for top 3 in each race in 10-year age groups (men and women), plus racewalkers

• Post-race:    Refreshments to keep you warm

• November 18 at Carderock MD - Cranberry Crawl 5K and 10K
• December 16 at East Potomac Park -- Christmas Caper 5K and 10K
• Members may sign up for all 5 races for the price of 4 ($20 total)
• Non-members may sign up for all 5 races for the price of 4 ($40 total)
