Come and join us at Whitehead Road Elementary School in Athens, GA for a great day of running for all ages. Proceeds from the 5K and Fun Run will benefit Whitehead Elementary students by providing engaging activities which promote academics, the arts, creativity, and good health.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 7:30AM

Fun Run: Starts at 8:30AM

5K:  Starts at 9AM

Awards: Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and top three Male/Female winners in age groups beginning 10 and under through 75 and over.  Ribbons will be given to the Fun Run Finishers.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com and www.coolrunning.com.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts will be guaranteed to those who register by 11/8/17.  Registrations after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2017 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
