Description

Are you ready to get down and dirty? Come out and test your ability to run, climb, jump and crawl through several challenging obstacles in the inaugural Hutch Rec "Muddy Hutch" at the Fun Valley Sports Complex on Saturday, October 7th. This 5K mud run will be sure to test your strength, stamina, fitness and mental determination. The "competitive waves" will start the morning off at 10:00 a.m. The "non-competitive waves" will follow, beginning at approximately 10:30 a.m. After you tackle the Muddy Hutch, you are invited to stick around and socialize with fellow competitors at the finish line. All proceeds from the Muddy Hutch will go towards Hutch Rec's youth initiatives.
Those 14 years and up can register for the early bird special of $40 from April 1st - September 20th. From September 21st - October 6th, the price will be set at $50. Race day registration is $60 and will be available from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. Early packet pick-up will be available from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6 at the Hutch Rec downtown office (17 E. 1 Ave, Hutchinson, KS, 67501).
All paid Muddy Hutch participants will receive a race packet, t-shirt, souvenir and (1) complimentary adult beverage at the finish line. Chip timing will be provided. As a courtesy, a gear-check table will be available to hold your belongings while you are participating in the Muddy Hutch. Parking is available on site. Please register by September 7th to guarantee shirt size.
Awards will be given out to the top male/female of the competitive division only.
