Our dog mascot, BEN FUR, wishes you a wet lick for the 8th ANNUAL Chariots of Fur 5K run/walk and 1-mile Fun Run - with or without your dog - on the beautiful beach of Jacksonville Beach to benefit local nonprofit animal rescues and dog parks. Runners & walkers will set their own pace - racing to win or walking for fun! 1:00 am start for the 5K and for the 1-mile Fun Run/Walk; Awards ceremony at 2:15 pm; Festival until 4pm.
 

The Chariots of Fur Beach Run and Festival benefits local Jacksonville non-profit animal rescues and dog parks. Race proceeds beyond expenses will benefit:

The first 700 fininshers will receive a 
CUSTOM FINISHERS MEDAL
Dogs with runners will receive a special ribbon
All runners registered by Jan 15, 2018 will receive a cotton long sleeve shirt

The 2018 Chariots of Fur Beach Run & Festival will include a 5k, 1-mile fun run/walk and festival with sponsor booths, DJ music, contests, food trucks, dog demos, dogs available for adoption, activities for kids, massages, raffle prizes and a silent auction! 

An exciting out and back ENTIRELY on the sands of Jacksonville Beach. Run south on the beach from the Seawalk Pavilion 1.5 miles to 25th Ave. S. U-Turn and return to finish on the walkway at the Seawalk Pavilion.. 

We welcome runners and walkers to bring their dogs to be part of the fun!...This is a dog centric event....and what dog doesn't want to run on the beach?
