The Harvest Marathon Relay Event Highlights:
•The Harvest Marathon Relay is a timed relay on an Olympic sized track
•Teams as small as 2 and as large as 25 will race to carry a baton the distance of a marathon (26.2 miles)
•Set up a tent and be prepared to cheer for your teammates
•Food, water and music will be available for participants

•Awards will be presented (categories TBD)

Registration Highlights
•Corporate Relay Team GOLD –$1000 sponsorship Includes 25 race registrations
•Corporate Relay Team SILVER –$500 sponsorship includes 10 race registrations
•Challenge Teams –$65/race registration up to 25 participants (captain must be designated)
•Corporate Relay Team Captains must submit their final team roster no later than 12:00 CST on September 23
•VIP packages will be available.

Rules
The Harvest Marathon Relay is designed to provide a fun, team-oriented competition for corporate competitors and challenge teams. 

Corporate Relay Team Members must be full time employees or contract employees with a minimum 6-months continuous service with the company prior to the event.  Retirees are eligible.  Specifically excluded are temporary employees, consultants and persons on formal leaves of absence.
Challenge Relay Team membership is unrestricted. 
Each Team Member (Corporate Relay and Challenge Relay) must sign the event waiver and attest that they have read and understood the rules before competing in the event.
SAFETY IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE.  General rules of track and field will apply.  At the discretion of the Race Organizers, teams may be disqualified for flagrant fouls (including by not limited to tripping, pushing and interfering with other runners) and other unsafe behaviors.
At the discretion of the Race Organizers, teams may be given warnings or disqualified for timing violations (i.e., removing the baton & timing device from the designated race area), relay exchanges outside of the designated zone and inappropriate behavior and/or language. 
Teams are responsible for setting up race stations (tents, tables, chairs, etc.), before the start of the race, and must remove any materials brought by the team, included any trash created by the team, before designated end time.  Teams will not be able to set up race station once the race has begun without consent of the Race Organizers. 
Use of tobacco on the race property is prohibited.  Possession of alcohol or firearms is prohibited.
Rules are established by the Race Organizers.  Any question about the rules can be sent to [email protected].  The Race Organizers reserve the exclusive right to amend, change or delete existing rules, and to add new rules, at any time before, during or after the event.  Protests and disputes can be brought to the Race Organizers, who will adjudicate the protest or dispute in a timely manner.
