Welcome to the 6th Annual MCGW Turkey Trot!  We are so excited about this year's race!  Our chipped timed, well marked race will start at Memorial Staduim and run through a beautiful section of residential Midland. So bring the whole family to run or root you on.  We offer FREE coffee, hot chocolate, water and Gatorade as well as fruit and granola bars.  We will have our photo booth again this year and you can also pay to have your photo taken with Tom the Turkey.  Family Fun for everyone.

Our Turkey Trot offers three categories of participation.  You can run or walk a 5k. Our 10k is excellent for runners looking for a longer distance.  As always we have the FREE Kid's Fun with canned food donations.  

We will give awards to those who place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each category. Our categories are split by male and female and range from 12 and under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.  

The Kid's Fun Run will not have awards but everyone will get a participation medal.  

We love offering a FREE runner's shirt but to be eligible for the FREE shirt YOU MUST REGISTER BEFORE 11:59 November 4th.  If you do not register before this day we will not have a shirt for you.  We only order the exact number of shirts for those who register before that day.  We will have a different additional shirt for purchase at the event.

Online registration will close November 18th at 10:00 p.m.  but you may still register the day of the event!

Packet Pick Up will be held Tuesday, November 18-20 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Midland Athletic Company 3209 Courtyard Dr Midland, TX.   If you cannot make this day and time you will be able to pick up your goody bag and bib Race Day at the packet pick up booth.

10k starts at 8:30 a.m.

5k starts at 9:00 a.m.

Our heart is to hold the race no matter what weather conditions arise.  However, should there be severe weather and we had to cancel it would be posted on our facebook page.

This run is a fundraiser for a non-profit organization and there will not be any refunds.
