Day of event:

Registration at 6:00 am

Welcoming ceremony at 7:00 am

Prayer at 7:10 am

National Anthem at 7:15 am

Luminaria Ceremony at 7:20 am

Pre-run/walk warm up 7:45 am to 7:55 am

5K Walk/Run begins at 8:00 am

The Walk/Run will start off by welcoming ceremony Prayer and National Anthem. Candlelight lighting ceremony symbolizing the courage that survivors and their families display and sustain in their lives This beautiful ceremony is a touching Luminaria Ceremony that pays tribute to cancer survivors and to loved ones who still live on in our hearts.

Additionally, you may purchase a luminaria to honor someone fighting cancer or in remembrance of someone who has lost their battle with cancer.  

During the Luminaria Ceremony, candles will be lit and displayed on November 25th, 2017 at 7:20 am.

John’s Super Hero 5K Run/Walk represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported and that one-day cancer will be eliminated.
