While others were putting turkeys in the oven or nestling on the couch, runners of all ages celebrate the spirit of giving at the YMCA Camp Letts Turkey Chase race!

Held on Thanksgiving morning, the Turkey Chase is our largest fundraiser and most buzzed about event every year! Each year we hold a 10Km and 5km race through our beautiful property with all proceeds helping to send deserving children and young adults to overnight and day camp programs here at Camp Letts.

Turkey chase is truly a family event with activities for everyone throughout the morning. Have your picture taken with our Turkey at the Photo both, Kids can race against him in our Mascot Race before the 5km run. Don'f forget ours is the only run in the area where the Turkey takes part in the whole race!

Join us Thanksgiving morning to reconnect with camp, bond with friends and family and get a healthy start to the holiday season!

The 5K Fun Run/ Walk is on our packed gravel driveway.  The 10K Race runs the length of the driveway then goes through a trail in the woods, before returning back through the same path.

Register before November 6th

10km - $30

5km - $25

Register Nov 7th-23rd

10km - $40

5km - $35

Day of registrations are avalible

Check in is  7:00-8:15am

The Road into Camp closes at 8:15 so you must be on property by this time or you will be turned away.

The 10K starts at 8:30am and the 5k begins at 8:45.  The 10K is a timed race with awards given to the top runners in age catagories.  The 10K times will be available within 7 days after the race and will be posted online.

The awards ceremony is approximately 10am and door prizes will be awarded at this time as well.
