Tom's annual 5K Reindeer Run was started in 2002 by the Linsenmeyer family as a way to keep Tom Linsenmeyer's memory alive. Tom took his own life on March 12, 2001 at the age of seventeen. Tommy was the kid who always had a smile. He had a gentle soul, but was also a fierce competitor and athlete. A race was the best way to honor him. Tom's Reindeer Run supports Sarah's House, a Catholic Charity that provides those who are less fortunate not only a glimmer of hope but also the opportunity for change. Thank you for joining us in celebrating Tom's spirit and for beginning the holiday season on the right hoof!
Our race is truly a family event. We welcome athletes of all ages and abilities.
Prizes and refreshments will follow the race and Santa will make his first holiday appearance of the year!!
Prizes will be given to the top three male and female finishers overall and the top three male and female runners in the following age groups: 12 & under, 13-20, 21-35, 36-50, 51-65, 66 & over.
Happy Holidays and we hope to see you on November 26th!
