Kick start your holiday season by committing to health and fitness with a two-mile fun run in Mammoth Lakes, California. You'll get a taste of what training at 8,000 feet in winter is like, while running on the multi-use paths next to the beautiful Sherwin Mountain range. The Mammoth Track Club will be there to cheer you on and celebrate with you over a cup of hot chocolate at the finish.

Race: Third Annual Mammoth Lakes Turkey Trot

Distance: 2-mile Fun Run

Date and Time: Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 9:00AM

Early Registration (before 5:00PM on November 22nd): $25 (race shirt included) at Footloose Sports in Mammoth Lakes or online @ www.active.com

Race Day Registration: 7:45AM-8:45AM - $30 (race shirt included) at Mammoth Creek Park

Bib Pick-up: 7:45AM-8:45AM Race morning at Mammoth Creek Park 

Start and Finish: Mammoth Creek Park (West)

Course: Out and back course (Flat-ish).  Head East on the multi-use path under Old Mammoth Road to Lookout Point and back to Mammoth Creek Park

Parking: Mammoth Creek Park and The Plaza (501 Old Mammoth Road)

Post-race: Hot Chocolate Social

Weather: Could be chilly and snowing.

What to Wear: Be prepared for sun or snow. Hat, beanie, sunglasses, gloves, and layers of clothing are recommended.
