Heart for a Hero 5K

The National Foundation for Transplants presents the first annual Heart 4 A Hero 5k/fun run in honor of Doug Pauley. Doug is a retired U.S. Navy veteran who proudly served our country for 20 years, and he’s determined to overcome this health battle with everything he has. The average heart transplant costs more than $1 million, and that’s only the beginning. Even with health insurance, which will cover a portion of the transplant costs, he faces significant expenses related to the surgery.

Race day is November 4, 2017, at the USA Stadium in Millington, TN. The 5k will begin at 8:00am sharp! We will also have a 1/2 mile fun run for our younger runners ages 10 and under beginning at 9:00am. Awards will be given for overall male and female worth $50! Top 3 in each age group will also receive a special reward.

The first 100 5k participants who register will receive a long sleeve t-shirt and a nice reusable goody bag.
