RACE DAY REGISTRATION/PACKET PICK-UP
Opens at 6:00 a.m. and located by fountain. T-SHIRT SIZES NOT GUARANTEED ON RACE DAY.
START
The start is located by the lakefront in downtown Baldwin Park. For safety and courtesy to other participants please line up according to your anticipated mile time.
CHIP SCORING
The “Chip Time Scoring” is the timing device used to score 5k participants. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is: Clearly visible on the FRONT of the torso, unaltered or modified and not covered.
FINISH
The finish is located by the lakefront downtown (loop route).
COURSE
Our race begins in downtown Baldwin Park and will wind around beautiful Lake Baldwin’s paved trail, then finish in front of the lake downtown. Bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, and dogs will be prohibited from the race course. The use of headphones is discouraged.
STROLLER RESTRICTIONS
Stroller/jogger operators please start behind runners. Stroller/jogger operators must yield the right of way to runners. Stroller/Joggers can tip easily and cannot turn quickly. Please do not weave through packs of runners.
WALKER FRIENDY
Walkers are encouraged to participate in the Panua 5k!
RESULTS
Results will be available at the race. For same day online results go to run4acause.org. Runners and walkers who wear the designated chip are included in the race results.
AWARDS/GIVEAWAYS
Top five males and top five females will receive awards. Top three boys 13 and under and top three girls 13 and under will receive awards. Members of the largest team will receive a small prize.
Kids’ Run participants will each receive a prize.
KIDS' RUN
Distances will range from 50 to 400 yards. Children will be placed in age groups. Prize to all finishers.
