This years Windy Hill Middle School Annual 5k will have a different flare to it. The National Junior Honor Society has decided to team up with the Physical Education Department to raise money for families in need for the holidays AND a new gym floor. The race will take place at dusk and there will be glow-in-the dark effects placed throughout the course. The event will kickoff at 5pm and the 5K will start at 6:30pm. There will be food and fun before and after the race in which many of the clubs from WHMS will be participating. Participants will receive a shirt and a medal. Please join us in a fun night of fundraising for WHMS and our families in need in our community.
Kids can join in the fun also by participating in the Mini-Wobble for children 10 and under. The cost will be $10, which will include a shirt and a medal. The Mini-Wobble will start at 5:45pm.
The gates will open at 5pm and the festivities will begin! We will have carnival style games and food provided by our clubs and organizations at Windy Hill Middle. Spectators are invited as well. Come out and support The Pack!
