The reason for assembling this event is to give our community the opportunity to come together on the weekend before Colton Rusk’s Angelversary. Running or walking 3.1 miles together is a small token of gratitude we can show for Colton paying the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The Rusk family generously gives out thousands of dollars in scholarships to seniors each year. 100% of all proceeds will be donated to the Colton Rusk Scholarship Fund. All donations are tax deductible.

It will be a wonderful sight for the Rusk family to see the community RUN FOR REMEMBRANCE of their son they dearly miss on a very difficult weekend

• Event date: December 2, 2017

• Time: 8:00 am

• Place: The Grove Baptist Church

• Registration sites: Bowden Ford, Fuhrken Insurance, The Grove Baptist Church & online

• Registration fee: $25.00 shirt included if registered by November 15th before 5:00pm

• Packet pickup: Friday, December 1 @ Bowden Ford from 8-3/ The Grove Baptist Church from

  5-7pm

• Race day Registration and Packet pick up: Event location @ 6:30 a.m. (shirt not guaranteed)

TENATIVE RACE DAY AGENDA

• 6:30 am: Late registration and packet pick up (shirt not guaranteed)

• 8:00am: Opening ceremonies

• 8:30am: Race begins

  Volunteer DJ/ music will play before, during and until race is complete.

  Volunteer Cooks will be making sausage wraps for participants and anyone involved.

• 11:00am: Awards, family speaker and closing ceremonies
