#NFStrong events take place in communities nationwide.  These inspiring events create strong bonds that build a supportive NF community.  The goal of these strong communities is to rally together and become one great voice in finding affective treatments and an eventual cure for NF.  The events are a great way to involve family and friends, meet others who are affected by NF, while raising awareness of this disorder and to create funding for NF research.

Take your first Strong Step towards helping us find a cure by registering, and then fundraising for an event near you.

Event details and schedule

Our Memphis #NFStrong 5K Run/Walk registration opens at 9:00 am, race begins at 10 at the East Parkway Pavilion where they hold th Farmers Market.

5K Timed Course fees:

• (All Ages):    $30

Fee includes:

1. USATF certified course
2. Custom bib
3. #NFStrong 5K Finisher medal 

or 

Family Fun Walk Fees:

• (12 & Up): $25
• (11 - 4): $12
• (3 & Under): $6 

Event Activities include: 

Free food, games, face painting, NF tattoos, NF Champion medals, top fundraising certificates, and a raffle

Get #NFStronger: 

• Form a team (think up a name i.e. Aiden's Army)
• Have a pre-walk fundraising event (carwash, trivia night, etc.)*
• Donate an item for the auction/raffle*
• Ask your favorite restaurant, hair salon, golf course, to donate an item for the raffle/silent auction, to become a Business Sponsor or to display poster*
• Start a pledge drive in your neighborhood or office*
• Ask your employer, or your spouses', parents, friends or neighbor's employer to sponsor the event*

About the Event/Walk:  

The trail is paved and level 

The event will take place rain or shine so please dress accordingly
