Nation's First All Indoor, 3 Level 5K & 10K Race

The Get Fit Indoor Race is the most unique event the I-X Center has ever produced.  The multi-level all indoor race will not only enhance the runner’s experience, but challenge their overall endurance.  The Get Fit Expo is partnering with Hermes Sports and Events, Northeast Ohio’s premier race management group to produce the Nation's first and only all indoor multi-level race.

The YMCA of Greater Cleveland will be the Official Charity Partner of the Get Fit Indoor Race. A portion of each race registration will go directly to funding the fantastic non-profit programs the YMCA has created to improve the well-being of our community, especially the nationally-recognized We Run This City marathon program for inner-city youth. Runners will get the opportunity to see exactly how their money is impacting these programs and helping to change the lives of youth in our community.

Race Features

• All Indoor Race on 3 levels – Basement (Lower), Main Floor, Mezzanine (Upper)
• Temperature Ranges: Lower Level 58 – 68 degrees, Main Floor 65 – 70 degrees, Upper Level 48 – 55 degrees
• 5K distance = 1 lap around course; 10K distance = 2 laps around course
• 100 foot and 200 foot 7 degree inclines and declines
• Live feed of race course at start/finish line with grandstand seating allowing fans to be a part of the entire race experience

Whether you are a hardcore fitness enthusiast or someone taking their first steps towards a better lifestyle, the I-X Get Fit Expo will help you learn how to make positive choices that lead to a happier and healthy future. The weekend long event is for all ages and fitness levels and will feature the three level, all indoor race, free FIT challenges, live cooking demonstrations, obstacle courses, sports clinics, cutting edge fitness classes, financial health education, healthy body and home care practices, physical fitness assessments plus exhibits with generous I-X Get Fit discounts and free samples. • Pre-Registration: Friday, October 20 – Friday, December 1 @ 9 AM (5K - $40, 10K - $65)
• On-Site: Friday, December 1 – Saturday, December 2 @ 8 AM (5K - $45, 10K - $75)
