On Saturday, November 11, 2017 in conjunction with the Veteran’s Parade, the Military Science Department of New Mexico Military Institute will host a commemorative 5k run – the B.R.A.V.E “Bring Remembrance to All Veterans Everywhere”.  This is a FREE run/walk accepting donations to benefit the Homes for Heroes of Chaves County program that benefits Veterans in Chaves County with home repairs, modifications and home needs. NMMI Military Science Department would like to invite all in the community to conduct a 5k run to honor those veterans within the Roswell, NM and Chaves county community that are currently serving and those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.   Follow us https://www.facebook.com/brave5k/or for more information contact [email protected].

Hello Runner! Thank you for participating in the 3rd Annual B.R.A.V.E. "Bringing Remembrance to All Veteran's Everywhere" commemorative 5K run.    

This is a free run but DONATIONS are encouraged and will benefit: Homes for Heroes of Chaves County. Please dress up in patriotic colors & show your support.  

RACE STARTS at 7:30 a.m. Racers line up at 7:00 am on 4th & Main Street.

Packet Pick up & Late Registration 

6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. - Saturday, November 11th, 501 N. Main Street, Berkshire-Hathaway

ROUTE:  Race starts on Main & 4th Street, travels North on Main St, then East on College Avenue and North on to Grand Ave. to 19th Street, turn around on 19th Street and follow same route back to Main Street going South on the South bound traffic lane.  Race Start line is on 5th and Main Street and Finish Line on 4th and Main Street. 

AWARDS: All participants receive a medal & lanyard.

SWAG:  All racers will receive a medal and bib.  First 200 Registered Participants receive T-shirt.  T-shirts are not guaranteed for late registration. (While supplies last)

PARKING:  NO PARKING in the Pioneer Plaza area.  Runners can park in the East parking lot behind the court house behind Virginia Ave. or on the side streets.

Porta potties available on 5th Street between Main and Virginia Ave.
