Through Christ Fit Personal Training Studio is proud to present to our local communities, the 1st Annual "Run with Purpose" 5k, this event is a charity event in honor of 3 individuals that are currently undergoing some very hard times. Although we cannot bless everyone with money we have chosen 3 people from our community to bless on December 2nd, 2017, and plan to do so annually from year to year. All proceeds that are raised during this charity will be devided equally among the 3 individuals. The 3 indivduals chosen are loving people from our community who have been battling Cancer and our hearts go out to them along with ALL families that are battling cancer or have lost loved ones to cancer or even lost a loved one due to an early death. We as Wayne County and the surrounding communities need to come together and RUN WITH A PURPOSE, no matter what "your" purpose may be, we need to show our love and support and "give" our love during this season. Come out and show your support to these 3, who need your love and support as well as the people you hold dear that are enduring hardships, we all have a purpose and when we all join together to bless others, we will be blessed in return. 1 Corinthians 9:25-26 "All Athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but WE do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just showdow boxing."  

Event details and schedule

We plan to open late packet pick up at 7 a.m. at Through Christ Fit, the Race will Start at 8 a.m., the 1 mile walk run and kids fun run will begin at 8:15 a.m. in front of the Jesup Arch and water fountain next to the train depot. We will run from the fountain down past Cafe Euro, past Jesup Plate and Glass, down Past Ed Exleys/ Cross Fit Jesup and around the curve, we will take a left and run down towards the Doctors offices and back.

Dress in appropriate clothing, running shoes, if cold wear a long sleeve shirt under your event tees! 

Parking will be along the street in front of Marshalls Audio and Alecs Sports Bar and Grill for runners, as well as the street where Badcocks Furniture is. Please do not park at the train depot, that needs to be for incoming and outgoing runners and personnel.
