The Ugly Holiday Sweater 5K Run and Walk is the perfect fun and festive way to kick off the holiday season. Taking place on the beautiful campus of Nova Southeastern University, this is a run and walk for all standards of runner, walker and couch potato. It's family friendly and teams are encouraged! Simply wear your favorite and ugliest holiday sweater, lace up your sneakers, and join in the best hoiday 5K in Fort Lauderdale!

TEAM ENTRIES : why not enter a team to participate in the Ugly Holiday Sweater 5k? It's great for team building, outreach for your company and a fun event for school groups, friend and family. Businesses who enter a team of more than 20 participants will receive appropriate sponsorship benefits and marketing!

Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event and receive a thank you goody bag. Toys will be donated to Toys for Tots and the Catch 81 Foundation.

After the race please stick around and enjoy food and drink, vendors and entertainment - and even perhaps spot Santa & his reindeer!

The race will benefit the Rumbaugh Goodwin Institute for Cancer Research and the Children's Diagnostic Center - because all we want for Christmas is a cure.

6:00am - Registration Opens

7:45 am - Assemble at Start Line

8:00am - Race Starts

Post Race Celebration begins at 8:30am! Award presentation begins at 9am!

This is a beautiful, flat course that is USATF-ratified and winds around the Nova Southeastern campus.

There is plenty of parking on-site. Please make sure to arrive in time to assemble .

Even though it is winter, winter in Florida can still be warm so make sure to wear sunscreen. We provide water stations but please note that wearing your holiday sweater might make you a little warmer than usual so please make sure to hydrate well before and after the race.

Wear your ugliest holiday sweater for a chance to win our Ugly Sweater awards (3 deep)

Awards will be given to the top male and female overall, top male and female masters overall, as well as the top finisher in each category:

Under 12, 12-18, 19-24, 25-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, 71-75, 76-80, 80-85, Over 86.

All participants receive a finisher medal!

Packet Pick Up : details still being finalized but packet pick up will take place November 29, 30 and December 1st. Team packet pick up can be arranged at your convenience.
